LIMITS & ENDS Hot on the heels of Ludwig Wittgenstein |
IRELAND 2025:
A transdisciplinary group follows in the footsteps of Ludwig Wittgenstein on the western Irish Killary Fjord – where the philosopher once wrote his “Investigations.” Here, in one of the westernmost parts of Europe, Die Fabrikanten launched a long-term artistic-philosophical investigation with guests from three European countries, conscious of our post-factual present.

Studies in Norway and Austria will follow in 2026/27.
Exhibition at Atelierhaus Salzamt
The initial findings of the investigation will be presented from 15 to 30 September 2025. The gallery space will be transformed into an experimental and investigative field of thought and experience. An AI chatbot will answer questions about truth and the limits of language in the exhibition's ‘interrogation room’ (in cooperation with RISC Hagenberg). The exhibition opening will feature a live performance by Jan-Egil Finne entitled ‘Investigation of Silent,’ food creations by Gerhart Stadlbauer, and an introductory speech by Holger Jagersberger.
At the closing event, Richard Wall will read from his ‘Green Book’ and there will be a sound performance with Andrea Gunnlaugsdottier, Claudia Lomoschitz and Crystal Wall: ‘to touch with-songs of sediment’.
