Two large posters with a total of 50.000 glued-on 1-Cent coins instigating a discussion on values: Does only money rule the world? The actionistic poster campaign in front of the headquarters of the Chamber of Labour in Vienna is the start of an information offensive on the public assistance. The Chamber of Labour demands to release the privatization pressure from the basic services such as pensions, public transport or water supply and to keep them still in public hand for the benefit of the public at large.
The 50.000 Cent coins tempt and provoke passers-by to enrich themselves little by little. After the surface is raided, the statement ?There are still other values than money? becomes visible. Such exemplary values are shown on the large posters directly next to them: ?Our water?, ?Our rails?, ?Our pensions?, ?Our health?.
After several months of consultation by Die Fabrikanten coop OE-263 the Chamber of Labour (section economy) starts an advertising offensive by the poster campaign, with the aim that the Chamber?s expert reports will be noticed again under changed political prevailing conditions. |
